Woah

T was a very entertaining 6 minutes. I never believed that Baroque and Modern could mix that well, but I guess I was mistaken. The last 2 minutes was especially interesting, it was basically Vivaldi with a drum kit and electric guitar to play with. I loved it!

Bacon92 responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

The reward for clear musical talent... A crap name. Duuuude you should have put some effort into the name! Haha apart from that, as I said, talent. Unless it's stolen. *glares*

Jokes.

A masterpiece of mechanicacoustic marvels.

To be given only a day to remix, it's brilliant. The collab this was featured in was an artwork in its own right, but this track made it what it is - A coming together of a bunch of talented people with their own unique contributions to an amazing animation!
The ambience and power can only be experienced and appreciated fully with headphones, I found; panning is a feature of compositions unfortunately overlooked by some aspiring musicians. Complex and [insert-appropriate-superlative-here]
, easy to listen to whilst being used to texture a story about machines, this is some accomplishment. You gotta love it.

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

I am glad you like my rays of technatronic mecharhythms 8]
As a fellow headphone wearer, I could never forget panning, stereo, or reeverb
Without them, things sorta feel like they don't have too much of an atmosphere

Thanks for such thoughtful words Nakisima!

Cool

It has the same feel as the first song I ever posted on NG. Calm, relaxing and not dominated by overly complicated unnecessary sounds. It's cool. And I agree with your thoughts on the other review; it has to be appreciated for what it is, personal preference counts for squat. No complaints, Good job.

AlmostTechnicolor responds:

Thaaaanks. :) I'm gonna go check out your first song right now!

Respect.

Pretty much everything sounds awesome, maybe a bit much reverb for my taste. But that's just it: my taste.

Bueno amigo!

Raikou92 responds:

k thanks bye

RE: Review

I have to give this an excellent review, even though Techno isn't my preferred style. It's complex and compelling, I don't think anyone would have a problem to get down to it. You clearly took time to make the drum-beat and to write and record the lyrics unlike mine :D
Nothing seriously wrong with it at all, it makes me want to make something like this and actually spend time over the details. Good job!

Well thank you! I definitely appreciate a high review regardless of your personal preference. Thanks bro.

<insert appropriate title here> System Failure.

I'm going to jump off a bridge in the hope that I will be spared the insanity that comes with knowing nothing I write will compare to this. It really is a cruel world.

I can't even write some of my normal stuff because it all ends up sounding like this song, and it's annoying. Go to hell, you indescribably awesome person, you...

Concurred.

I agree with Mr. Bloopy. The crowd in the background took away the retro aspect, vis å vis, I thought of tetris after 2 seconds. It would be a great loop for anyone making an arcade game.

tomashcu responds:

lol :D thnks and ill get ridda the crowd

Woah.

Loved it. No other way of putting simplicity really.

By the way, I noticed you said "I didn't sample" in caps. Is it really taboo to sample? Does it make you any less an artist?

Groovebot responds:

No dude, not at all. I know lots of people do, and I do too sometimes. I just sorta wanted people to know that the melodies are mine, since I'm particularly proud of most of them. I don't think it makes people less of an artist, but I know I've been a little bummed before when I'm really impressed with a melody my friend "made up", and then found it to be someone elses, or public domain. I just want people to know how much I respect 100% originality! I'm glad you liked to tune, bro!

Nice Remix

Would've liked more "oomph" if you see what I mean, as the English call it - a "donk" (stupid expression, isn't it?) But, as I like to say, personal opinion means nothing if the author doesn't agree, as oxymoronic as it sounds.

So there really isn't much point writing more, eh >.<

Nice one!

15thDimension responds:

lol...not exactly sure what you mean, you being a bit vauge. but hey, thx for the review!
